Welcome
Having studied painting at The Royal Academy Schools and previously Winchester School of Art, Bella has been involved in many group and solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally. The British Council showed her work in New Delhi, India in 2004. Other solo shows have included exhibitions at The Curwen and New Academy Gallery and ROSL Arts, London/ Edinburgh.
Over the years Bella’s work has been supported through awards and sponsorship from corporate and private funding bodies including Sir Ernest Cassell Award; ROSL Arts, UK travel scholarship; MacFarlane Walker Trust; The Gen Foundation; Worshipful Company of Painter/Stainers, Lever Hulme Scholarship and the recent Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Purchase Prize . These in turn have enabled her to travel to Japan and India to make new work and contacts.
Bella’s work has been purchased for many public and private collections. She has also been involved in commission-based work. Existing clients include Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, BMW, Rover Group, M&G Ltd, Tesco, Buckingham Palace, Royal Academy of Arts, Arts Review and ROSL Arts collection.
Bella has also been featured in various publications including the Financial Times, Sunday Times, Evening Standard, Arts Review, RA magazine, Daily Express and Hindustan Times.
