Welcome
Bella Easton studied painting at at Winchester School of Art (1993) and The Royal Academy (2000), followed by a print fellowship at City and Guilds of London Art School (2002). She currently lives and works in London. Her installation Dog Kennel Hill was recently shown at The Magnificent Basement, London (2011), followed by 'Scotoma' a show she curated for ALISN at the penultimate SLUICE Art Fair. Easton has shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions including at The Invisible Dog, Brooklyn, NYC (2010); Crash, Charlie Dutton Gallery, London (2010); The Summer Exhibition, Royal Academy (every year since 1998); ASC Gallery, London; The Threadneedle Prize; SV02 Studio Voltaire, London; the British Council in New Delhi, India (2004); and Rundgang on Hardenbergstraße in Berlin. She was recently made a Painting Finalist in The Celeste Prize 2010.
Over the years Easton’s work has been supported through awards from corporate and private funding bodies including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, BMW, Rover Group, M&G Ltd, Tesco, Royal Academy of Arts, Arts Review, ROSL Arts and The Gen Foundation.
